I am giving this a 4-star review because I ordered them in the turquoise color and they were GILDAN brand (tag and everything)..... which I'm aware GILDAN bought out American Apparel last year, but was hoping I'd be getting the leftover original American Apparel stock.... and ultimately, I DID! ....but not in the turquoise. It was in the navy that I had also ordered. There are some slight differences between the two. The AA ones feel a bit softer, but they're both quality cotton. Also, the turquoise to me is just bright blue... I think of turquoise as having a green tint or being more of a light teal, which these are not. It's still a beautiful color though.
