After having ordered this jacket from Medically Equipped eight months ago, I must say that I am impressed with this jacket. The material is thin, great for the summer heat. Although it is thin, it is sturdy and resistant to the wear and tear of the kitchen. The blend of fabrics and the black color have kept it stain free while maintaining the deep black color it had on the first day I wore it. The side pocket on the left arm is great for markers, thermometers or whatever other small tool is needed often, with two different sized pockets. Initial complaints of the material being too thin have probably not had much time in a non-air conditioned kitchen, and so the density of the fabric is deemed more important than the effectiveness of cooling this jacket has.The fit of the jacket can be matched to your t-shirt size, with a good bit of room for variation in body type. The neck doesn't choke when buttoned up to the top, and the buttons have held strong through the washes, as has the stitching. All in all, a great product, and an essential for any cook/chef throughout the heat of summer.
