This item fits well and seems to be good quality. The fabric is NOT as heavy (thick) as fabric used in Rugby shirts from the 1990's, time will tell if this is as durable.I would buy again If I want another.I ordered a small and a medium to determine fit. They run a bit large. My inhaled chest is 39" and I fall between small and medium for most shirts, jackets, etc. The chest dimension of the small size, measured at the bottom of the armpit, is 44", which is perfect for me. When I tried on the small, it was a perfect fit, so I didn't even bother to open the medium. Note that there are only two buttons in the neck opening, not three. Also, the knit cuffs do not fit snugly at the wrist. In fact, it's almost a straight sleeve, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, it's a fantastic shirt: good quality and comfortable. I ordered two more after determining fit with the first one.Disappointment! Noq, I'm an "Athletic Build" OK, I've got some chest and some tummy in my senior years, but I'm not rotund!! On the product explanation it says order your regular size... I say "Nay, Nay" It was too tight across the chest and stomach... So, I ordered the next larger size... The body fit the same!! The sleeves were longer, but it's still too tight everywhere!! I've got over $70 in shirts I can't wear... Bad News!Loved it thank youI ordered the black and grey striped shirt. It's kind of okay but overall it's pretty much a disappointment. The shirt is lightweight--not heavy duty "real" rugby shirt fabric. It looks okay but the knit material is pretty thin. It's not even as thick as the cheap Russell Athletic sweatshirt I ordered at the same time, if that comparison helps anyone. The collar is really a hunk of junk (MORE ON THIS IN THE UPDATE BELOW). Out of the package, it's wrinkled and cheap looking. The collar fabric is so thin it turns to an even bigger mass of wrinkles when it comes out of the dryer. Flattening it out to hold down the wrinkles doesn't work--it just takes a set where it wrinkles up. I will not be ironing the collar on this shirt every time it's washed so I will be wearing it with a crappy wrinkled collar. The fit is okay but even that is a bit off. While Amazon's description of the shirt says it's 100% cotton, it is actually 77% cotton and 23% polyester. That was another disappointment when I opened the package. Some of the reviews had indicated the shirt will shrink so I had ordered it in 3XL, expecting it to shrink enough to fit loosely since I wear 2XL shirts. Well it fit fairly well out of the package, like a 2XL fits me normally. And since it's not really 100% cotton, it doesn't appear to have shrunk any after two washes. Thank goodness for mistakes that work out okay in the end.Honestly, this shirt should cost about $20 given the quality of the fabric used. On the plus side, it looks to be well made with good stitching and it shows no evidence of fading after washing a couple of times. It fits a bit small for the marked size 3XL but that worked out well in my case. Some of the shirts might shrink, I dunno because mine was a cotton/polyester blend, contrary to the description, and mine did not shrink much if any at all. I was tempted to send this back for a refund but decided to go ahead and keep it. I only intend to wear it around the house anyway. Except for the wrinkled collar, it looks okay.UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW 02/04/2019:I'm revising my rating to ZERO stars. I've become totally frustrated with this shirt to the point it's now in a bag that's going to Goodwill. Why? The damn collar. Every time I wash the shirt the collar comes out of the dryer so wrinkled it's unwearable without ironing. I have no patience with this. I even considered cutting the collar off the shirt.Do yourself a favor, buy a sweatshirt. Amazon has some nice Russell Athletic and Gilden sweatshirts for reasonable prices and they're at least wearable.Great shirt, warm in the cool springtime and fall. I only got one season now I will wear it as an old work shirt.Pros: Great long sleeve cotton shirt - just what you'd want when you want to ward off a chill. Color selection is okay, not greatest but not too bad. Fit is as expected and everyone has commented on how it looks. Mostly positive comments.Con: I've worn it this Spring (2019) and enjoyed the comfort. I pulled it out for a cool summer morning and noticed the last washing took it's toll. the sleeve cuffs have disintegrated at the very ends. It isn't compromising the wear-ability - except in public. I don't think I've washed it more than 10 times and we use a gentle front loader so I cannot imagine what happened. I don't bleach my clothing - especially color / white striped items - since I don't want anything to streak or fade. The buttons cannot take high heat in the dryer - they get soft and stay soft afterward. With my arthritis in my left hand, the soft button makes it a little hard to put on and take off - probably moreso the arthritis than the soft button. All in all, a great shirt. I have an older one that is very durable, had it two seasons and still intact and looking sharp. Probably just a quality control issue with the cuffing material.Shirt was as advertised. Great quality and fit great.White color ran, but the black and red are fine. I will wear both. Good fit and good looks. Its a real rugby top of the old school variety , washes well , and is very comfortableJ'utilise ce polo pour faire du sport et il convient très bien à une utilisation tant extérieure qu'intérieure.Il est fait comme un maillot de rugby doit l'être, d'où ma satisfaction (épais sans être lourd et semble pouvoir durer longtemps).Aside from the gigantic size of the large, the garment reeked of formaldehyde and other fungus fighters. The material seemed rough too, though that might have washed out with the profuse chemicals. These obnoioux features are becoming more common with “cotton” goods, particularly from China...I have returned some, thrown away others from Amazon. At 6'0, and thin, i have a hard time finding shirts that are long enough for my torso & arms, but not look like im wearing a parachute width wise. Got myself a medium, and after a wash, the sleeves still fit, and its not too big looking
