i wear this all year long. it can get really hot actually the windbreaking action is so good at insulating. it is also water resistant enough. its great for some light to medium rain and dries very fast and while the outside gets wet the inside does not usually. perfect for spring fall and even winter especailly cold weather yard work where you dont want to sweat. layer up underneath for extra warmth. much better movement than an heavy jacket in that regard. just can say enough. just a great light weight utilitarian jacket that is warm enough to be a regular jacket. i loveit for shop and yard work like i said. pretty durable too. rarely tears. size used to be quite baggy, last order was a little snug in the forearms, but i'm big, and the cut is slimming and attractive. certainly not tight. cant recommend enough for hikers, contractors and people who dont like bulky jackets.I was looking for a windbreaker with a hood and cotton liner. This is exactly what I wanted. I am 5’4 and weight 150 lbs and the medium size was a little baggy and long on my arms, but I like that style. I could have fit a men’s small if I wanted it to fit perfectly. It’s a great jacket. Perfect for fall or spring. It seems like it’s well made and has nice zippers and seams.Jacket is lightweight but still warm. it's exactly what i've been looking for since most windbreakers only have the same polyester inner lining whereas this one has a soft lining. I'm a girl wearing men's small so it was a little loose but there's a drawstring on the bottom to help make it fit more snug. Works well against wind and light to medium rain, haven't tried it in heavy rain. The hood fits well and actually covers your head unlike some jackets that barely cover your forehead. I wear it on cold nights/morning hikes but it can also be worn on a sunny day with some light wind.I've taken this jacket to a number of different places in the world most notably Costa Rica in the mountains in the summer which can get into the 40s at night and 70s or 80s during the day worked out well because you could just throw it over a sweater and you were warm enough, I wouldn't say it could be your only jacket but it works great with a T shirt sweater and windbreaker if it gets breezy overall fantastic jacket.Lightweight folds up perfectly into a backpack.Like the fit and lining!Would like it a little heavier, okay for California weather, but for colder temperatures it would not be warm enough.Exactly what I've been scrounging online to find. Simple windbreaker with cozy lining, elastic at wrists, generous pockets to hold phone and keys and cold hands. Happy w/purchase!Nice color. However underarms especially in the back were too snug & restricted flexibility.Sleeves were also a bit short for a size Large.I love this jacket, but returned this model due to a defect in manufacturing. I typically wear a size large jacket, sometimes XL depending on the make. I was replacing an old one of these (same brand) that fit me great, it was actually a size medium. I loved it, but after years of wear and abuse it was falling apart. This jacket was also a size medium, but was considerably larger than the old one, and the sleeves measured almost 4" shorter than the old model. Needless to say, it didn't fit and I returned it. Seemed like a defect in manufacturing to me, however, the company still made me pay the $12.00 (cheapest USPS) return shipping. Bah!
